The eligibility criteria to get this scholarship is candidates must secure the 1 to 5 position in the university exams. Students who got 1st position get 40% off on the total tuition fee, and 5th position get 10% off on the tuition fee.

However, there is a difference in eligibility criteria for BSc specialisations that candidates are required to qualify for before filling out the application, for example, some of the BSc courses require candidates to complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream some from the PCB stream. Additionally, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% for admissions to BSc specialisations available at Saveetha University, but for BSc in Dental Technology specialisations candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate.
