My college journey at Saveetha School of Engineering, Saveetha University.
Placements: I am studying in the B.Tech CSE (AI) course. Almost 95% of students get placed in my college. The highest package is 44 LPA in 2024, and the average package ranges from 8-9 LPA. Top companies like Apple and TCS visit our college for placements. The management gives placement training to students to get placed in top companies.
Infrastructure: Instructions of the college are excellent, and the campus is full of greenery. The campus is spread over 180 acres of land. The college also provides quality labs with Wi-Fi. There are six hostels, three for boys and three for girls. There is a hospital on the campus where doctors are available 24x7.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly. There will be a good interaction between students and faculty members. All faculty members have graduated from top colleges. They conduct industrial visits in each subject where students can learn, particularly what they teach in the class, and can learn in a fun way.
Other: I chose CSE (AI) because nowadays AI is playing a crucial role in day-to-day life. In this college, we learn with real-life examples and also learn to make real-time projects. Many events are organised on the campus.

Really good infrastructure, teaching and schedule structure was good.
Placements:  Maximum 80% or above here, and the placement process typically starts at 75%. The highest package offered is 39 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys are the main recruiters. Good percentage of students above 75%. They will give a time period for internships AI engineering, Web developed .
Infrastructure: Faculty members and the infrastructure are too good. Free Wi-Fi is available, labs are available, good classrooms with AC, and a well-structured library. Faculty members in the hostel are good and when we came to food it was our choice to eat all items that were available and tasted good, medical facilities are available. Sports and games are conducted.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. They conduct many activities in class such as Jam etc. The curriculum is relevant. The exam structure is completely different when compared to other colleges we could complete our courses within 3rd year and cam join internships. The exams felt a little difficult and the pass percentage was above 80%.
Other: AI place a best roll in future The course was doing good in college and will be a capstone and project All extracurricular activities are well doing and will provide OD for interested one.

This college has atmosphere like schools.
Placements: I'm a 2nd-year student, and almost all students are placed from courses such as CS, IT, and AIDS. Bio-related courses such as bioinformatics and biotechnology placement opportunities are fewer. The placement packages are also low in all courses.
Infrastructure: There are blocks in the university. Few blocks are well maintained, but most of them are not up to standard. Wi-Fi access is only available for CS and IT students. The library consists of a good study area, which is peaceful. There are various canteens inside the campus, so the quality varies for each canteen.
Faculty: A few faculty members are very knowledgeable and helpful, but not all. Not all facilities are easy to access. Many events and programs are organized to develop student's skills. The course curriculum is not that helpful. The exam system is different, but it's easy. Pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose SIMATS to pursue this course because bioinformatics in the engineering sector adds value to the certificate. More lab facilities would be helpful at the college. There are no complaints regarding events, fests, or other activities.

Here a little bit of satisfaction is about teachers. Most of the teachers are not good at teaching.
Placements: Nearly 100% of students get placed in placements. The college provides special training for placements from the end of second year. So, there is nothing to fear about placements so you can blindly trust the college for placements. This year 2024-2025, the package is 45 LPA and average salary is 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: I am currently pursuing B.Tech second year in computer science and engineering with cyber security as specialisation college provides free Wi-Fi from the day of admission. Labs are super cool here. The best part of this college is library which has nearly 1,00,000+ books with a beautiful ambience.
Faculty: Here per semester, there are only two courses or subjects and this semester runs only for 1 month so for one year you will be completing 11 subjects. This is quite a little bit hard to complete but if you focus you can complete it. This type of slots system can not be found in any other college.

It has good infrastructure and good placements.
Placements: 40-50% of students get placed in different companies with decent packages. The highest package is 44 LPA and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA as of now in this year. The topmost recruiting companies are TCS and HCL. 30-40% of students get internships by college and the remaining students search out of college.
Infrastructure: We have classes and labs in the same room which means that CLABS (class+labs). We have a Wi-Fi facility and a big SAIL library with a ship theme and good ground. It has more canteens and good infrastructure. It provides a good time to learn things in the library. It has a good hostel life.
Faculty: All teachers are doctorates. They all are qualified PhD holders with great knowledge. We are in a deemed university so our college only prepares semester exam papers. There are many difficult papers and they go with more analytical questions. It will train us well to pass exams.
Other: I chose this course because my brother told me that I would have a great future in this course. Our college organises the best events every time like Simam, etc.

I am dissatisfied because the college rules are the worst.
Placements: AI and ML, along with subjects like data structures, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing, are offered. Up to 2,500 students have taken courses in AI and ML, which are based on credits, and students need to complete the required subjects. The packages range from 3 LPA to 10 LPA, but only they show higher figures like 24 LPA. However, these higher packages are offered by Saveetha Engineering College, not Saveetha University.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi sometimes connects, but they do not provide the password, so we have to find it ourselves. There are also games and events where we can participate and earn certificates and events where we can play games and win cash or certificates.
Faculty: The average examination is not good. Even if we write the correct answers, we fail most of the time. If we are writing a supplementary exam, we only have a 10% pass percentage. Exams and curriculum are very poor. One day, there will be one rule, and Tomorrow, there will be another. They do not even treat students as humans. They make us feel like robots. It's the worst experience.
Other: Placements are still very low, but they have only just started to come in.
