For the academic year 2025, the university has opened the DPharm application process. The SIMAT Chennai DPharm deadline hasn't been announced yet. However, according to the admission dates for 2024, Saveetha University ended the application process in the final week of June 2024. For this time as well, the admissions dates may be similar.   

All applicants need to do is fulfil the eligibility requirements to ensure a seat in SIMATS BPharm programme, which includes gaining at least 50% overall in their Class 12 Science stream. To apply offline for SIMATS BSc course, candidates must go to the admissions office in Chennai, where they receive the application form and prospectus after paying INR 1,000 in cash or by DD. Further, candidates must complete the application form according to the guidelines in the prospectus and mail the completed and signed document to the specified address. Candidates must complete the admission process within the date and specified time.  

No, students cannot be admitted to Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences without undergoing entrance exams. The students have to take entrance exams for the respective fields and have to pass those appearing for admission. If a student wishes to take admission in engineering, she/he must take entrance exams like JEE Mains. In the case of those students who wish to take admission for medicine, they must take entrance examinations like NEET. There are some courses other than medical or technical that require separate courses that do not require an entrance exam, such as B.Sc, BA, etc. Hence there would be no entrance exams for the courses you are interested in; but in the case of a medical or technical profession, you have to give entrance examinations. 

Candidates can pay the BPharm course application fee in an offline mode at Saveetha University through demand draft or RTGS transfer after downloading the allotment letter. Candidates must ensure that the application fee must be paid in favour of Saveetha University. Additionally, after paying the application fee, candidates must request a receipt or acknowledgement for their records. The Saveetha University BPharm application fee is INR 1000.

No, Saveetha School of Engineering does not give 100% scholarships for B.Tech. But there is a provision for 75% Fees Scholarship students who scored 90% or above marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. 50% Fees Scholarship to students scoring marks above 80% in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Maths or qualifying for JEE- Mains. Fee Structure National 50% State 25% District 20% and Zonal 10% for all the tuition fees. 

Yes, entrance exams are conducted for most courses in Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences. NEET is a must for MBBS and BDS. Engineering courses admissions are through counseling done as TNEA. For BSc medical, BPT, BOT, and Law programs, entrance exams will be conducted by the Saveetha University itself.
