The selection of c&idates for all the seats shall be made based on ranks obtained by the c&idates in A.P. EAPCET 2022.

For reserved category students, the admission criteria for BVSc and AH at SVVU is as follows:
- The candidate should have passed the subjects of physics, chemistry, biology, and English up to the 12th standard level with 50% marks in aggregate of these subjects for general category.
- For candidates belonging to the Scheduled castes / the scheduled tribes or other special category students, the marks required in aggregate is 5% less than that prescribed for the general category (i.e., 47.5%).
- The candidate should have completed a minimum age of 17 years and not crossed the maximum age of 22 years as on the 31st December of that year of his or her admission to the 1st year of Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry course.
- The maximum age shall be 25 years in respect of scheduled caste or scheduled tribes and 27 years for Physically Challenged candidates.
- The selection of candidates for all the seats except those reserved for VCI quota shall be made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the EAMCET in their respective local areas from out of the merit lists prepared for this purpose.
- Twenty-five percent (25%) seats shall be reserved for candidates of all social categories coming from families of Agriculturists (Farmers) owning a minimum of 1 acre of Agricultural land either in the name of the parents or in the name of the candidates who have studied for a minimum of 4 years in the schools located in non-municipal areas.
- Ten percent of seats over and above the total number of seats are allotted to candidates belonging to the EWS category.

If the admitted candidate cancels his / her seat before the closure of admissions for the Academic Year 2024-25 an amount of Rs.1,300/- under general quota and BC and Rs.650/- under SC/ST/PH quota shall be collected as processing fee. The remaining fees already paid during admission shall be refunded.
If the admitted candidate cancels his / her seat after closure of admission process for the Academic Year 2024-25 the candidate has to forfeit the fees already paid and in addition, he/she has to pay processing of Rs.1,300/- under general quota and BC and Rs.650/- under SC/ST/PH quota.
