The ICFAI University Dehradun Answered Questions

IBS-Dehradun provides 95% placement in 2016 batch of which the highest package was 6.5 Lacs but this time IBS promises to bring companies with a high package of 10 Lacs. As it is in the process, we hope IBS can do so. As compared other B-Schools, IBS is one of the best A-grade schools in India. It is much better than AKTU.

If your main domain in CSE, then I would recommend that you join UPES, Dehradun instead of ICFAI.
I would only give you two reasons for my recommendation.
1st- UPES offers CSE program with more than 15 specializations and all are industry-aligned and domain specific courses.
2nd- UPES's placement record for CSE alone was 93% with the Highest Package being 14.81 lacs and 4.06 lacs was the Average Package.
Plus IFCAI is best known only for their law courses, but UPES is Asia's first university to introduce programs in energy sector and all of B.Tech courses in UPES are highly known and liked by students in India.

LLB is a very prosperous career for those who want to learn about the management subjects along with law. You can work with all corporate sectors and business firms. You can find opportunities in different areas. You can work as a legal advisor, law reporter, legal assistant, lawyer, etc. You can opt for courses on corporate law, acquisitions, mergers, etc. after BBA LLB to find better career prospects.

I think you should go and visit ICFAI University. Don't go just by the name. There are too many good colleges in Rajasthan, especially in Jaipur which are trying to compete with VIT Vellore, MNIT and LMNIT in terms of modern educational concepts, association with renowned universities in UK, USA, Canada and Russia sending their students in these institutions to compete globally, providing multidisciplinary expertise, opportunities for START-UPS their innovative ideas. In addition, they are providing project based learning from 1st semester and flexible-slot based time-table. I think you must visit some of the college in Jaipur specially Anand International College of engineering before making any decision. Please share your experience. All the best.

No, it is one of the C grade institute and overrated in its advertisement. When they say 100% placement please check with them how they achieved figure of 100% may be they have not allowed people below specific cutoff to participate and 30% to 40% has been already phased out. visit their campus and see then only take decision.
