The highest package offered during ICFAI University, Dehradun placements 2024 stood at INR 37 LPA. Earlier, ICFAI University Dehradun has released its placement reports for the batch passing out in 2023 for its various schools. As per the ICFAI Business School (IBS) report, the highest package and average package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 23 LPA and INR 6.33 LPA, respectively. Further, 93% placement rate was recorded and 58 recruiters participated during ICFAI University Dehradun placements 2023. A total of 50 students and 18 students of ICFAI Law School (ILS) and ICFAI Education School (IES), respectively were placed during placements 2023. Our university's Law Department is the best of them all.

Placements: Placements, like the number of students who get placed, have definitely increased now. The one thing, though, which needs to be changed is the placement packages. Currently, it's around 3 LPA, while top law college students get 6–10 LPA on average.

Infrastructure: Both boys' and girls' hostels are off campus but are quite good. Timings are strict, but still, hostel rooms and everything were quite good. Even the food has variety, and Sunday Chole Bhature is a winner. Campus infrastructure for all departments is good, but law definitely has the best of them all.

Faculty: If I judge them purely on teaching, then definitely 10 out of 10. They are all PhD holders and have a strong sense of how to make students study, and this is the real differentiation. They make classrooms fun and solve each case study with great enthusiasm and energy. So, a batch of 50 students always has at least 45 students present.

Other: Since I have a Commerce background, BBA became a natural choice, and Law was something I always wanted to study, so I opted for BBA LLB.

Affordable private law college.

Placements: 40 percent of students got placed from my course. 14 LPA is the highest package, 3 LPA is the lowest, and the average is 5 LPA. Different companies from different cities like Delhi, Bangalore, etc. The internship ratio depends upon the skills of students some students take internships from college whereas some students do it by themselves. Internships are usually done in different areas like courts, NGOs, law companies, etc. Students usually are in all the fields, but the ratio for the judiciary is more and students do get into the corporate sector, litigation, and so on.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are wonderful, students get good food, they have also added some tasty junk food so that students don't crave junk food and eat it from outside. When it comes to cleanliness, it's quite neat and clean. Laundry is also available. Rooms are spacious and good. So overall the hostel is very good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach so well that difficult topics seem to be easy. The course curriculum is relevant. There are different activities done to interact with the students. I am in my first year and haven't given a single exam yet. What I have come to know from my seniors is that there are four types of exams being conducted, and the difficulty level is moderate to hard.

Other: I always wanted to do law and I am interested in this field so I selected this field. The best thing about my college is that, being a private college it's affordable for students from middle-class backgrounds because private law colleges are very expensive in general but ICFAI is the best college when it comes to academics. They even provide scholarships according to the CGPA, and I feel like there should be a fest, concert, and all should be conducted because the overall environment of the college is boring.

The ICFAI University Dehradun is marvelous.

Placements: At least for the last two years, placements have been doing well as more than 60 percent of students from the last two batches were placed. 3 LPA-4 LPA is the median and 10 LPA is the highest package offered to a law student at The ICFAI University, Dehradun. Legal associate is the most common role offered to students of our university.

Infrastructure: The university has a beautiful moot court and smart classrooms. The entire campus has Wi-Fi availability and a mini library for the law department. Even the study room is good but the only issue is that only a few classrooms so far have ACs. The playground is also decent and most events happen on that playground.

Faculty: On both fronts, which are qualification and experience our faculty members score 100 on 100. Semester exams are not so tough as our faculty members are not so strict when it comes to giving marks. Our course is also moderate with 5-6 subjects in each semester. The passing percentage of students is also higher than that of other private universities.

Other: From PIL to drafting to moots and MUNs, The ICFAI University, Dehradun hosts a series of events all year around.

My experience in ICFAI University, Dehradun pursuing BBA LL.B.

Placements: Last year, placements came from companies like Quislex Hyderabad and Mirza and Associates Gurugram. The package offered is 15 LPA- 18 LPA. They provide internships as well. Career counseling is also done at the start of the career, overall everything is good and everyone is helpful.

Infrastructure: Classes have projectors, free Wi-Fi, and AC. The library is also open throughout, all relevant books can be found there for your needs. The canteen is also good and the food is hygienic. A badminton tournament is also held sometimes. The medical facilities are also there. Hostels around are reasonable, and the mess is good with good security.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and they are available for you whenever you want for doubt sessions. Every month, tests are conducted by teachers for assessment, grades are based on relative marking, and questions come from whatever is taught in class. Overall, it is good.

Other: Fests are conducted for holistic development.

University requires improvement and upgradation. Placement and internships are not satisfactory.

Placements: At ICFAI University of Dehradun, the placement record is quite moderate. Approximately 50 to 60 percent of students are placed in decent companies. However a few students get placed in major companies like Khaitan & Co., Lutras, etc. School of Law and Business, where top recruiters mostly come to hire. Overall the course, placement, and package seem fair and average.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure requires improvement and upgradation over time although the library is quite satisfactory overall. Classrooms ought to be well-equipped with technology and functioning air conditioners. Besides ICFAI has 3 girls' and boys' hostels. Among these I'm living in Luv Kush Girls Hostel. Personally I find it better and satisfactory. It is equipped with all facilities which can make students' lives easier and the owner of this hostel is amazing, listens to complaints and problems and works on feedback.

Faculty: Teachers are experienced and well-qualified. I think their teaching qualities and techniques could be improved and updated. Subjects and courses are good but it also demands more practical exposure and technology advancements which are lacking in the university. Semester examinations are quite moderate.

Good for law and judicial academic record.

Placements: Placements are decent enough in all courses available. Nearly 70-80 percent of students got placed by ZeroDay, and in other courses also, with the highest in management and business-related courses. Communication between the placement committee and students is also easy-going and smooth.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is a lump-sum type of thing in my view, with not having enough classrooms and water coolers, and a lack of in-house hostel facilities till when I was enrolled, but they are working now on that with inside-campus hostel facilities for upcoming students.

Faculty: Faculty are quite responsive in and out of the classrooms. There is a constant push for more openness in communication between students and teachers in a friendly environment. There is a small club of faculty members who have quite good knowledge in their respective fields and problem-solving.

AP LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. AP LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, AP LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. CLAT generally covers the deeper aspects of the particular subject.
