Sorry, you are not eligible for MCA from University of Hyderabad. A student who studied PCM at 10+2 level and scored 60% in graduation is eligible. You can do MCA from another university/college.

MBA is a course of Masters in business administration with diverse number of domains to practice your knowledge in, like HR (Human Resources), finance, marketing, advertising, management, business tactics and entrepreneurship. Once you get into the course the curriculum shall lay a basic foundation for you all the mentioned areas and by your final year you will have to make a choice among all of them that you wish study in detail and go for w.r.t. your career and job e.g. going for HR studies and training shall open you up for the job designations in the role of HR in various companies, going by the entrepreneurship studies you shall be taught and trained towards investments, profits and losses and probable factors influencing your decision to move ahead with your own business, etc.
Now coming on to CAT percentile, competition for MBA has tremendously increased over the years and lakhs of students across India are taking up CAT exam every year which makes it a tough competition and hence a higher percentile required to fetch a good university for yourselves. 99.9 percentile is the highest that hoes across India and as per personal observation the marginal percentile equivalent to 75-80 makes it really hard for you to look for a govt. institution or a good one, you need to settle down with a marginal private institution with a percentile equal to or lesser than 80.
