The College of Biotechnology in Mathura is not among the most famous institutes in the country. When ranked nationally, it also doesn't rank high. There are different criteria set by various assessment bodies through which institutions are ranked according to their academic performance, qualification of faculty, and research output, among other criteria. The college ranks fairly well regionally because the institution specializes in biotechnology education, but it certainly won't feature prominently at the national level. Instead, prospective students should reflect on the course offerings by the college, faculty qualifications, placement statistics, as well as student feedback with regards to the reputation for biotechnology.
