The entrance at Amity is an objective English language based test and a personal interview. Both of which are held at the college on the same day itself.

The mass communication course at Amity is a B.A in journalism and mass communication. The subjects change everything and cover journalism, public relations, advertising, branding, radio etc. The faculties are experienced and most of them are retired or practicing professionals. The facilities are quite good. The studio, radio stations, edit bays, screening room, cameras, and lighting are accessible to all. Studies are divided across 6 semesters of half a year each and there are approximately 6 hours of classes every week.

It's a psychological concept. When one says that he/she is pursuing and evening course, there is a general perception that the student couldn't get in to the morning batch.

Amity has a central hostel which is considered to be very safe. You can go for AC and non AC rooms here. Food is not included, and one has to go downstairs to the cafeteria to get food. Amity is a vegetarian campus.

The entrance at Amity is very easy. First there will be an objective test for English language, which determines the candidate's command over English language. If cleared, the candidate has to appear for a personal interview. The interview is to find out how much interest the candidate has in the media industry, whether he/she is well versed with current affairs or not and what are his/her future plans after this course.
