Scores accepted at GIBS Business School, Bangalore, include various national-level entrance exams such as the CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, GMAT, and State CET exams. Students will be qualified to apply with any of their scores from these different exams. The selection is based upon overall performance in academics, entrance test scores, group discussions, and personal interviews. However, GIBS offers a merit-based admission where only a student's 10+2 academic performance and aptitude for business studies are considered for admission to the BBA course. Merit-based admission to the BBA course at GIBS does not require an entrance test. A flexible, structured admission process may ensure that undergraduate and postgraduate students are selected on academic potential and career readiness.

Hi.Changing colleges in the 2nd year (3rd semester) of a B.Com program is possible, but it depends heavily on university regulations and seat availability. The process generally requires approval from both the current and the desired college/ university and often involves ensuring academic alignment. General ProcessCheck Eligibility and Vacancies:Same University: Transfer within colleges under the same university is generally easier and more common. You must ensure the new college has vacant seats in the 2nd year B.Com program.Different University/State: Transfer to a college under a different university or in a different state is more complex and less likely, as the new university might require you to restart from the 1st year to meet their specific curriculum requirements.Academic Standing: You must have successfully passed all 1st-year exams without any backlogs. Good academic performance often improves your chances of acceptance.Syllabus Matching: The syllabus of your completed 1st year must be largely equivalent (often at least 75% common) to the new college's curriculum to allow for direct entry into the 2nd year.Obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC):You need to get a formal NOC from your current college's principal/administration. This confirms they have no objection to your transfer and that your fee clearance is in order. This can be difficult to obtain unless you have a strong, valid reason for transfer (e.g., parental job transfer, medical reasons).Apply to the Desired College:Submit an application for "admission on transfer" to the principal or admission authority of the new college.Provide all required documents (see below), including the NOC from your previous college. The new college will review your application and academic records to determine if they can accept your credits and offer you a seat.University Approval and Document Submission:If the new college agrees to admit you, they will issue their own NOC or confirmation letter. The transfer usually needs final approval from the university's academic audit or registrar's office.Once approved, you must officially withdraw from your former college and obtain your Transfer Certificate (TC) and Migration Certificate (if changing universities).Submit these final documents and pay the admission fees at the new college. Key Documents Required1st year mark sheets (both semesters)Transfer Certificate (TC)Migration Certificate (if changing universities)No Objection Certificates (NOC) from both collegesProof of valid reason for transfer (e.g., parent's job transfer letter)Caste/category certificate (if applicable)Aadhaar card/ID proofsPassport-size photographs

I'd bring to GIBS a blend of curiosity, collaboration, and commitment. I get enjoyment in connecting ideas in interdisciplinary contexts and would actively participate in clubs, workshops, and collaboration with peers. My previous formal business education provides a solid foundation, but I have always been excited to learn from others and share my knowledge with those around me. I strive to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere in my interactions with students and adults, enabling everyone to feel that their voice is being heard. Whether it is through planning events or helping classmates, I will be an active participant in campus life. I view GIBS as not just a place of study, but a community of individuals that I can grow with and give back to.
