It is the best choice for students careers.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed was around 30 to 40%. The average salary package offered was around 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 30 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Oracle, Toyota, Adobe, Volvo, LinkedIn, Bosch, and few more. Around 40% of students got internships from our course. Roles offered were geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, construction engineering, CAD technician, surveying, etc.
Infrastructure: When it comes to infrastructure, it was good with affordable classrooms, well-established libraries, and Wi-Fi was also available with limited access. Hostel was quite maintained well. Food was affordable and eatable. Medical facilities were also available nearby our campus. When it comes to sports, I am disappointed, not giving much importance to that.
Faculty: Teachers were highly qualified and knowledgeable. Course curriculum was relevant but they must focus more on practical applications than theory. Semester exams were rated from average to difficult. One has to prepare well before writing exams. Passing percentage was 35% per subject.
Other: I got placed in this college through my CET exam. Our college could be said fest full of events that will be held from time to time. Campus surrounding was best filled with greenery. Scholarship was available and there was not much issue with it.

Absolutely good faculty, library, and infrastructure
Placements: 56 percent of students were placed in our college during 2021-22. The highest package offered was 2.3 LPA and the lowest was 1.5 LPA. Top companies such as Cognizant, L&T Engineering Construction, etc. came 100% percent of students got internships in many companies such as Autodesk, Marshall, etc.
Infrastructure: University Visvesvarayya College of Engineering provides Wi-Fi connection in hostels (only for the civil branch). Labs are very hygienic, classrooms are not much hygienic (as it is an old building and there are fewer workers ). The library is good and has all engineering books from 1st sem to 8th sem. The quality of facility in the hostel is much better as compared to other colleges. Good transportation facility is provided. Mess food is awesome with varieties every day. The college conducts a variety of sports events.
Faculty: University Visvesvarayya College of Engineering has helpful teachers as they all are those who completed their Ph.D. in different universities and are qualified with great knowledge. They just guide us but do not make us industry ready. Exams are difficult to attempt and the minimum passing marks is 40 percentile.
Other: I selected this course as I'm interested in becoming a civil engineer The course has in-depth knowledge about construction and the environment.

This is a really great place where great students are produced.
Placements: ISE students got 100% placements. Other than this, the highest salary packages were grabbed by students. Until now, the highest salary package offered was about 50 LPA. Other than this, students will opt for off-campus placements, and they are doing great in that also. A total of more than 134 companies will visit the campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was excellent here, and the building was 108 years older and still stronger. For the civil branch, there is a separate department building, which is placed in Jnana Bharati campus near Bangalore University, which is situated in the middle of greenery.
Faculty: Faculty members here are good, and students work hard. The library will help a lot. In semester exams, the question papers are very hard, and it is as difficult as IIT question papers. You have to work as hard as possible because which questions you expect to get in exams are definitely not asked.
Other: The fee is moderate here, and the crowd is always great.

The best college with very low tuition fee.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. As far as its placements are concerned, our college stood after colleges like RVCE, JSS, and NIT Mysore, with a college rating of 8.4. There is a good placement office. They started conducting placement training sessions from this year, i.e., the second year of our course, but those sessions are supposed to start from the 3rd year.
Infrastructure: Labs are not that great, but the teachers are the best with great knowledge. They are well-qualified from national institutes. Survey sessions are great with all the instruments. One can learn surveying subject easily just by attending the practice sessions. Even the faculty of the FM lab is great, and he wants the students to have good practical knowledge.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified, and they're good at teaching. But the only problem is they avoid taking more classes. One faculty member is from IISC Bangalore, and most of the other teachers are from IIT Chennai. A few laboratory instructors are from NITs. Overall, they're well qualified and highly experienced.
Other: Events and fests are conducted now and then. They're really good at organising programmes like IEEE and Inspiron.

Absolutely a better college to shape your future well with a best faculty and placements.
Placements: One of the oldest and best college of Karnataka completing its 100 years with best teaching faculty and placements. The students above 70 have got placements in core companies after interview and many mnc companies visit the college and give best packages.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good with a better atmosphere, well developed labs and classrooms. Unfortunately no good canteen available nearby. The hostel rooms are not that good we have to adjust it. The sports are not that encouraged in the college. We have faced issues in hostel and canteen diatance as the distance between hostel and canteen is more its nearly around 1.5km.
Faculty: Maximun teachers are the Ph.D. holders and the staff is helpful and they are dedicated and are putting more efforts to shape our future well. We are having a technical trip in that we will get a industry exposure. However the teaching quality is better. The students faculty ratio is around 20:1 and all are experienced and some are from nits and iits. Technical trip was useful for us to know everything practically and they will be survey camp too it will be very helpful.
Other: Every year will have fest and the campus don't have more crowd its in a pecfull environment surrounded by forest. Top students will be awarded by scholarships in college.

A:

University of Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) is about 100 year old and was established in 1917, under the name "Government Engineering College", by Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya. It is the 5th engineering college to be established in india and first in Karnataka. UVCE is one of the few technical institutions in the country that has achieved with the status of a university and neck on the lines of IITs. It is one of the oldest technical institutions in india, which provides technical courses like B.Tech., B.Arch., M.Tech., M.Arch. and PhD degrees in the various disciplines of Engineering and Architecture.

Q:   Which one is better for a B.Tech course, University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering or Aditya Group of Institutions?
A:

UVCE is about 100 years old and 5th the oldest Engineering college of India.

So, obviously its placement is also good in year 2014 (last recorded) 700+ offers were made to 350 students by companies which includes Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and many more.

So, placements here are excellent.

On the other hand, Aditya Institute of Technology (AIT), Delhi is a Polytechnic (diploma) college founded in 1995. It's placement probability is somewhat around 60 percent only which is not a good one at all.

Conclusion : for a B.Tech course, Visvesvaraya College of Engineering is best.
