A pass in second-year pre-university or Class 12 or equivalent examination held preceding the entrance test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Computer Science or Biology or Electronics with at least 45% aggregate in optional subjects. Candidates must also have English as one of the languages for admission to the Engineering course.

The total tuition fee for BMS Institute of Technology and Management MTech ranges between INR 1.5 lakh and INR 2.5 lakh.
