College review of BMSIT.
Placements: Approximately 85–90% of students from various courses are placed. But from my course, which is mechanical, 60%. The highest package offered is 20 to 25 lacs per annum, and the lowest might be 4-5 lacs per annum. Average package is 6–8 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is good; we have good Wi-Fi connectivity, labs have good quality equipment and are safe to conduct experiments, and the library has every book we need for the respective courses. I have not opted for a hostel, but my friends have, and they say it's good and clean.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and every teacher is well qualified. The course curriculum is set as per the industry knowledge, and students will learn about it. It's the same as any college exam: if you write, you will pass; the pass percentage is 70 to 80%. Overall, the course curriculum and teachers are good.
Other: Apart from education or study, they even have clubs. For example, there is a club called Motorhead where we build arts and go to competitions to show our engineering skills and knowledge.

BMSIT review by a first year student.
Placements: Students become eligible for placements in 6th semester itself. A lot of companies come to the college to recruit students for their companies and a lot of students go for off-campus interviews and selection as well. A lot of packages are offered, with the average offer being 18–20 LPA. Some of the companies that come to our campus every year for placements are Amazon, Wipro, Samsung, IBM, etc. The percentage of students being placed fluctuates every year since it also depends on the job market but easily 40% of the students who sit for placements get placed. Most of the placed students start working in the 7th semester itself as part-time employees, and a lot of students do major internships to boost their portfolio as well.
Infrastructure: Good campus and a love for computers drove me to opt for computer science. Since the college had a good reputation and ranking, I chose to get admission to the BMS Institute of Technology. A football field was another reason why I chose this college since I'm a sports enthusiast.
Faculty: We had the opportunity to interact with the faculty members every time we needed any help. Some of the faculty members were good at helping us and had good knowledge on the subject but some were just running the PPT, which no one understood. Some faculty members were good with some students and some were good with all.
Other: The teachers were just focused on their syllabus completion, irrespective of the students understanding. The faculty members should teach based on current affairs, developments, and the current syllabus.

Good option if you looking for tier-3 college.
Placements: BMS Institute of Technology and Management (BMSIT) in Bangalore is known for its strong placement record among tier-3 colleges. Companies like Samsung, Amazon, and Dell are among the top recruiters. Placement training is started early to give students ample time to prepare.
Infrastructure: The college provides facilities like a library, canteen, and research opportunities for students. The college infrastructure is quite good with spacious and well-lit classrooms. Wi-Fi connectivity could be improved. Hostel facilities are also provided.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members hold PhDs and are knowledgeable in their respective subjects. The faculty uses a variety of teaching methods to make the learning process interesting. The faculty is supportive and always ready to help students, but the syllabus is not good.

Very positive environment .
Placements: 60%–70% of students have been placed in the year 2023. The highest package was 24 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average was 7.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Tata Group, IBM, Infosys, Adani Group, LG, Samsung, Wipro, and many more. Most of the students get entry-level jobs.
Infrastructure: At BMSIT, every classroom has been provided with Wi-Fi and a projector, the laboratory has the latest technology for students to use, and the library has all the books that are needed for the course. The library is also huge, with a holding capacity of more than 150 students.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified, having a minimum of 2 degrees, and some senior professors have also done Ph.D.s in their respective fields. This course makes the student ready for the real-world market, but the student also has to gain other skills.

Balanced Prospects: BMSIT offers good Placement Amidst cultural Enrichment .
Placements: 1. Around 70-80% are placed in my branch. 2. Samsung, Tata, ANZ are top recruiting companies. 3. SDE developed. 4. Lowest package is 3.5-4 LPA, Average is 7-8 LPA, and the highest is 14-20 LPA. 5. Internship comes with placement. Due to recession in the world, placement is affected for 1-2 years, but the college tries its best to place.
Infrastructure: 1. Wi-Fi is average; I can't say bad network, but it's also not good. 2. Infrastructure is good at this college. But it is too small to play games like cricket or football. 3. BMSIT has three hostels with international hostel facilities. 4. Food taste is moderate, but quality is good.
Faculty: 1. Teachers are not too helpful, but they are well-qualified and knowledgeable. But they don't have too much technical knowledge. 2. Yes, good for your future career. 3. Internal exams are easy, but due to VTU external exams are tough. But now the college is autonomous. You have to score 40/100 to pass exams in VTU.
