A very decent college with good academics and placement, but it all depends on your hard work.
Placements: Our seniors batch, which is 2025 passout batch, had an approximate ratio of 90% and the highest package was of 26 LPA for ISE, which was from AWS, and the highest package, including all departments, was 33 LPA, and the roles usually offered are mostly ADE, support, and testing roles.
Internship for 2026 has already started, and approximately 30% final year students have an internship in hand.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, but I have heard that the hostel food is good and has varieties for both North and South Indians. College infrastructure is good. It is mostly a green campus. But the labs are very well-equipped, and the canteen food is good, but a bit costly.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are Ph.D. holders and have great knowledge, and they also conduct industrial visits and workshops apart from studies. But in recent years, like the 2024 batch and onwards, due to more intake of students, the quality of teachers is reducing.
Other: BMSIT fest is good compared to other colleges, and it happens for 3 days. About the crowd, till 2024 it was good, but now the quality has decreased as they are taking more intake of students from last year, that is 2025.

Neither good nor bad in all terms. It's an okay college.
Placements: As of last year, more than 80% of students get placed in my branch. The highest package is 24 LPA, the average is 8 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Very less product-based companies come to hire, most companies are service-based or startups but provide good salary packages, except for mass recruiters. A lot of companies come to hire, so there are ample amount of opportunities for students. Internships are offered to students during the start of the 6th semester. Placements are good compared to other branches.
Infrastructure: About infrastructure, I would say it's not that great. Although the campus is lush and green, the space is less to just only 25 acres, and construction is still ongoing. Labs and library facilities are good. The best thing about the college is its hostel food and canteen food. The quality and taste of the food are good and also affordable. For North Indian, food is definitely not an issue to worry about.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified Ph.D. holders, but they are good only for examination purposes. Beyond that, they are not able to guide you properly for any industry-level purposes. The semester exams are easy to pass and score good marks. If you are a regular student and have attended classes, you will easily be able to score good marks. Almost all students pass the semester exams if they are eligible to write.
Other: Though this course and ISE have the highest placement percentage among all other branches, scholarships are awarded to students, but they are only for Karnataka state students and for weaker sections. The Utsaha Vabhava Fest, organized once a year, is actually a treat to enjoy and forget all your tensions.

Good option if you looking for tier-3 college.
Placements: BMS Institute of Technology and Management (BMSIT) in Bangalore is known for its strong placement record among tier-3 colleges. Companies like Samsung, Amazon, and Dell are among the top recruiters. Placement training is started early to give students ample time to prepare.
Infrastructure: The college provides facilities like a library, a canteen, and research opportunities for students. The college infrastructure is quite good with spacious and well-lit classrooms. Wi-Fi connectivity could be improved. Hostel facilities are also provided.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members hold PhDs and are knowledgeable in their respective subjects. The faculty uses a variety of teaching methods to make the learning process interesting. The faculty is supportive and always ready to help students, but the syllabus is not good.

BMSIT- the emerging college of Bangalore .
Placements: Placements are good.
Top companies in Bangalore come for placements on campus.
The highest package goes up to 48 LPA.
Average being 8–9 LPA.
Decent internships are provided to students by the college itself.
100% of students get internships.
About 98% of people get placement offers.
Infrastructure: The campus is fully equipped with Wi-Fi and state-of-the-art infrastructure.
The hostel is clean and good rooms are provided in the hostel.
The library has a variety of books and all journals are available in it.
The classrooms are good, with decent infrastructure and excellent ventilation.
The only drawback is the sports facility.
The mess food is excellent, with a different menu every day.
The canteen is reasonable.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are the best.
All hold Ph.D. degrees.
They are helpful and the teaching pedagogy is excellent.
As it is autonomous now, the course curriculum is up-to-date.
End semesters are quite easy in college.
8+ CGPA can be maintained easily.
Almost every student passes through the college.
Other: I chose this course because of the good placements and the good reputation of the college in South Korea.

Not satisfied by the quality of faculty in the ISE department.
Placements: The placement here is actually not up to par. There are a number of good companies that visit the campus but the placement department gives opportunities to the students who already have huge packages at hand. They don't even bother to train the least-placed students. No referrals are also given by the placement dean.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is actually good, with a green campus but no proper Wi-Fi connectivity. Only in some places does the Wi-Fi work. The labs are also well-equipped and have a nice ambiance to work in. The classrooms are huge and can accommodate 70 to 80 students at a time.
Faculty: The teachers are useless there; they purposely cut marks and load us with assignments, and if submitted late, they straight away cut marks without mercy. They do not help with projects; they are there only to check reports and make the students spend thousands of rupees. The ISE depth HoD MS Sudhamani is bad in our college. She has more attitude than the Gen Z students.
Other: I got a government scholarship because I was in the SC category. Sometimes the campus is too crowded, sometimes not but the canteen is always crowded. It looks like a fish market during lunch.
