The eligibility criteria to seek direct admission for the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) course at Dr. Ambedkar College of Law is as follows:
- The candidate must have passed their 10 + 2 examination with an aggregate of at least 45% marks for general category and 40% for reserved category.
- The candidate must hold a degree in BA, B.Com, BSc, BBM, BBA, or any other equivalent degree with at least 45% marks for postgraduate LLB in law course.
- The minimum educational qualification for LL.B. three year programmes is BACHELOR DEGREE (10+2+3) with minimum 45% of Marks for general Category candidate and 40% in case of reserved category in any stream from a university recognised by UGC.
- Admission is centralized from the academic year 2016-2017 for First Year LL.B. (First Semester) of Three Years LL.B. programme.
- Candidate must appear / passed the Maharashtra State COMMON ENTRANCE TEST Examination conducted by "THE COMMISSIONER, STATE CET CELL, GOVERNMENT OF MAHARASHTRA".
- The candidate who has appeared in Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Examination and whose name appears in the merit list of our college on the basis of CET Score card under the Centralized Admission Process should register for Pre Admission online registration on University of Mumbai portal mumdigitaluniversity.ac.in.
- The candidate must have passed their 10 + 2 examination with an aggregate of at least 45% marks for general category and 40% for reserved category.
- The candidate must hold a degree in BA, B.Com, BSc, BBM, BBA, or any other equivalent degree with at least 45% marks for postgraduate LLB in law course.

Yes, the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) eligibility criteria differ for the reserved category candidates at Dr. Ambedkar College of Law. The SC and ST candidates can get a relaxation of 5% marks.

Dr. Ambedkar College of Law has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: CoursesEligibilityLL.B.Candidate must have passed any Graduate Degree with (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognised University or any other examination recognised as equivalent by the Universities concerned with 45% of aggregate marks for General category, 42% for OBC category and 40% for SC/ST. If any candidate secured less than 45%, 42% and 40% respectively in graduation as stated above, theye should have secured same percentage or more on the aggregate in any Post Graduation or B.Ed.
The percentage of 44.5% and above for General category, 41.5% or above for OBC, 39.5% and above for SC/ST will be considered as 45%, 42% and 40% of aggregate marks respectively.
Candidates who have passed Degree examination by single sitting without undergoing three years course either through regular or private or correspondence and those who obtained the degree through open University directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible.
There shall be no age restriction.B.A. LL.B.Candidate must have passed two year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or any other examination recognised as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, T.S. with 45% of aggregate marks for General category, 42% for OBC Category, and 40% for SC/ST.
