They should also have a non-zero positive score in a pharmacy entrance examination like MHT-CET/NEET/Other State or National Level Pharmacy Entrance Exam/PERA CET. Additionally, candidates who have passed Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharmacy) from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India are also eligible. The admission process is based on a personal interview, with selection purely on merit.

The institute offers 45 seats across three M.Pharm specializations: Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Quality Assurance.The GPAT scores are very essential to get into the M.Pharm programme and the cutoffs have been designed mainly on the basis of this test. Whereas the latest cutoffs admissions follow the general trend of 75%-85 percentile across the specialisation although it may differ according to the number of applicants and reservation policies.
