Talking about placements, there is no predefined criteria to get the highest package from any company. You should have a fair amount of PORs, and other academic or extra curricular achievements which will make your CV good. However, they neither guarnatee you a good placememt nor the absence of these would land you in a not so good company. You just need to have the required skills in whatever profile you are applying for.

98.54 was the cutoff for the CAT exam held in 2014 for admission to the 2015-17 batch. For the CAT exam conducted in 2015 for the 2016-18 batch, the cutoff has not been released yet. The shortlist along with the cutoff will be out soon. All the best.

Hello Rashika, In order to get admission into FMS, Delhi, you will first have to give CAT exam. For Indian Nationals, admission to two-year-full-time MBA program is based on your CAT score. After which, a shortlist is prepared and the students are called for Extempore and Personal Interview. A merit list is prepared on the basis of which final admissions are offered to the students. With the changing pattern of CAT, FMS has slightly changed its criteria. But no need to worry, first stage shortlist will only be based on CAT. FMS Delhi will award the highest weightage of 40% to VARC section in its shortlisting criteria for MBA 2016-18 batch while the other 2 sections on Quant and DILR will have an equal weightage of 30%. In the final selection process, female candidates will be awarded 3% extra marks to promote gender diversity. The past academic scores were not given any weightage this year as well. However, I won't guarantee that same will be the case for the next year as well. The past academic scores might again have zero weightage but it can't be confirmed as of now. But I would suggest you to apply for FMS and give your best shot. All the best.

In the interview you can be asked a lot of things starting from why MBA, ypur extra curricular achievements, academic achievements, hobbies, current affairs, your graduatiom subjects, general knowledge, questions on your SOP, questions on economy, politics, sports, etc. You should have an idea about all such things. There are no fixed set of questions and they can be from anywhere.

Yes, you will surely get a call from the Institute, but your final selection will depend on academics and your Performance in GD/PI.

Hello Swarndeep, In order to get admission into FMS you have to give CAT exam. Admissions are not offered on the basis of your MAT score. After giving CAT, a shortlist is prepared, for whom interviews and extempor is conducted to offer the final admission.

Last year a person with percentile 99.2 secured almost the last seat in FMS. Moreover, last year the overall percentile used to be considered, so it was a bit easier to answer this question. However, from this year sectional cutoffs have also been included along with 3% for gender diversity. It is really tough to tell a percentile that can guarantee you admission. Cutoffs vary every year and so does the process.
