No, it won't be. However, being a non-engineer can be a benefit, as IIMs have started giving more points to non-engineers in their grading formulas.

Admission to FMS is totally based on performance in CAT and on-campus rounds (extempore + Personal Interview). Academic grades are not taken into consideration for admission.

FMS doesn't conducts Group discussions. Only interview and extempore is there. For extempore the topic can be anything. It can be related to your hobbies, economy, politics, geography, some random quote

It good to commit mistakes but only if you learn.

You need to score around 97 percentile in MAT and then, you need to clear GD and PI. Before that, ensure that you managed to score 60+% in your graduation.
