GIBS believes in continuous improvement in academic and institutional quality by collecting structured feedback from students and recruiters, mentoring reviews, classroom evaluations, placement interactions, and post-recruitment reports. Students give regular inputs regarding teaching methodologies, relevance of the curriculum, facilities on campus, and overall learning experience. These are reviewed by bodies such as the Academic Council and IQAC to make updates in the curriculum, introduce new skill-based modules, or refine teaching methodologies. The recruiter feedback is sought after internship drives, placement processes, and industry visits to understand industry expectations, emerging trends, and skill gaps. Based on such information, course content is revised, more industry-aligned certifications are offered, better training is provided for placements, and corporate partnerships are strengthened. This leads to a continuous cycle of improvement, making the programs at GIBS current, practical, and relevant to both student needs and employer demands.

GIBS Corporate Academy does not require an entrance exam for admission. Most of the Corporate Academy's certificate and skill-based programs do not have a formal entrance exam requirement, and admission is typically based on your academic qualifications (e.g., completion of Class 12 or related prior education) and is merit-based. To enroll, prospective students just need to fill out the application, submit required documents, and pay the course fee to secure their seat. Because of these policies, GIBS Corporate Academy is easy to access and enroll in for students who wish to concentrate on practical, career-relevant learning.

If you've taken the CAT or MAT multiple times, you're probably wondering if you can submit multiple attempts to GIBS during the application process. It's an easy answer; just include details about each test attempt (e.g., date taken) and attach each of your scorecards. Generally speaking, if you've taken the CAT or MAT multiple times, you'll be expected to submit your the highest available score. This is taken into account by GIBS when evaluating your application because their goal is to assess each candidate based on their the highest performance. The key point is that the scorecards must be authentic and easily verifiable by the GIBS admissions committee. While you do not need to submit every attempt you've taken, if you submit multiple scores from your CAT or MAT, the admissions committee will evaluate those scores with a focus on your the highest percentile or composite score (whichever is greater). This ensures all applicants will have a fair chance to present their the strongest applications. Once your scores are received, the GIBS admissions team will evaluate your application via group discussions and interviews, among other means. While the entrance exam score is only one part of the entire application evaluation process, submitting your the highest score for consideration will help maximize your chances of being invited for an interview.

At GIBS, attendance is taken seriously, but it's handled in a practical way. If you miss a few lectures or skill sessions once in a while, it's usually fine, but doing it regularly can affect your internal marks and overall performance. For skills sessions and activities, missing them means you might lose out on hands-on learning, practice, or participation marks. If assessments or presentations are missed without a proper reason, you may not get marks for that component or might be asked to explain it to the faculty. Overall, the idea isn't to scare students, but to make sure everyone stays involved and gets the full learning experience.

GIBS Business School provides scholarships and awards to support exemplary and deserving students. It is generally determined by the students' academic background, score (s) on entrance exams, and their overall profile strength (GIBS uses a combination of several metrics). This is intended to attract top talent to the school and to help mitigate some of the financial burden.Types of scholarships offered by GIBS include:1) Merit-based Scholarship (s) for students who qualify as merit top scorers (e.g., Class 12/graduation and/or examination scores through emergency entrance tests, etc.).2) Performance / Batch Awards, awarded on the basis of great achievement, for example having some of the highest academic scores or having the most outstanding performance as a group.3) Higher Entrance Score Support where students can earn higher levels of funding through higher level entrance examination scores.4) Special Concession (in some circumstances) to defence family members, SAM family members and members of certain other categories, depending on GIBS's policy and documentation. The purpose of these scholarships and awards is to help talented students achieve academic excellence, motivate future performance, and provide opportunities for talented students to comfortably afford their education. *As a reminder, all scholarships will change annually, including, but not limited to, eligibility criteria, the funding percentage breakdown, and how long you will have to apply.

Hi.According to the official “Courses / BBA” listing for 2026, GIBS lists its BBA seat intake as 150.Multiple sources (including college‑profile websites) consistently state 150 seats for BBA.If all seats are filled, roughly 150 new BBA students join GIBS each academic year.Depending on demand, admissions, and seats allocated, actual admitted numbers may sometimes be slightly more or less (some sources mention up to ~180 in some years), — perhaps due to multiple sections or seat‑category allocations. The intake refers to the full BBA batch (i.e. across all specializations under BBA at GIBS).
