KIIT School of Law offers Poverty-Cum-Merit Scholarship, wherein the candidates are selected on the basis of the needs. Under the KIIT Merit Scholarship, first-place holders of the semester examinations are granted stipends ranging from INR 5,000 to INR 10,000 or more per month for six months.The institute also offers several scholarships to the LLM students (based on need), such as the Pradyumna Bal Memorial Scholarship, under which two meritorious and financially needy students are awarded the scholarship for complete free education every year. Also KIIT has launched a new scholarship name as Teaching Scholarship (Living Learning Programme). Note: The scholarship and duration of scholarship is subject to change from time to time.

Candidates must have qualified with an aggregate of minimum 45% aggregate in Class 12 from a recognised board. Also, candidates needs to appear for the KIIT Entrance Examination, which is more commonly referred to as KIITEE, and be suitably good for the law studies. The selection is competitive; therefore, performance in the KIITEE would be essential to secure a place in the programme.
