The selection process for B.Tech at MIT School of Engineering & Science (MIT School) and the minimum JEE score required depend on several factors:1. Entrance Exam:JEE Main Score: A valid JEE Main score is mandatory for most B.Tech programs. While there's no official minimum score, aiming for the 85th percentile or above in JEE Main is generally considered safe for securing admission to most programs. Some popular branches like Computer Science might have higher cut-offs.MHTCET / PERA CET: Certain programs also accept scores from Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHTCET) or Pune Engineering Ranking Assessment (PERA CET). Cutoff scores for these exams will differ from JEE Main and depend on the programme and competition.2. Class 12th Marks:MIT School considers your Class 12th marks (PCM) along with your entrance exam score for creating the merit list. A minimum of 50% aggregate in PCM is the eligibility criteria, but higher marks can improve your chances.3. Reservation CategoriesReserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, etc.) might have lower cut-off percentages compared to the general category.4. Seat Availability:Cutoff scores can fluctuate based on the number of available seats and the total number of applicants in a particular year. Here's how the selection process works:1. Register for and take JEE Main or the designated state-level entrance exam (MHTCET/PERA CET).2. Fill out the online application form for MIT School B.Tech programs.3. Submit your JEE Main/MHTCET/PERA CET score and Class 12th marks in the application form.4. MIT School creates a merit list based on a combination of your entrance exam score and Class 12th marks.5. You receive an offer of admission based on your rank on the merit list and available seats in your chosen program.Finding Specific Cut-Off Scores:Check the official MIT School website for the latest admission guidelines and past years' cutoff data (if available).Contact the MIT School admissions office for the most accurate and updated information regarding cut-off scores for specific programs and categories.Remember, aiming for a high score in your chosen entrance exam and maintaining good Class 12th marks will significantly improve your chances of securing admission to your desired B.Tech programme at MIT School.
