MIT School of Engineering and Sciences Course Admission 2026: Eligibility, Fees, Cutoffs, Application Process

For admission to BTech courses offered by the MIT School of Engineering & Science, students must fulfil the basic eligibility requirements set by the institute. As per the BTech admission policy, students who have completed their Class 12 examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Technical Vocational Subjects and a minimum of 50% (45% for the reserved category) from a recognised board of India are eligible to apply.

As per official sources, the BTech application portal at MIT School of Engineering & Science for 2025 admissions is now closed. The last date to submit the application form for all BTech courses was 31 Jul, 2025. Candidates must note that the extension of the deadline is completely at the discretion of the concerned authorities.

The mode of MIT Loni Engineering College course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and scores of entrance exams. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main,  MHT CET, and others. Candidates must get good marks in accepted entrance exams for a successful admission at MIT School of Engineering and Sciences.

For B.Tech admission at MIT School of Engineering Pune, candidates must have a valid rank in one of the following entrance examinations: JEE Main, MHT-CET, or PERA CET. Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50-60% aggregate and studied Physics and Mathematics as main subjects and Chemistry/ Technical Vocational/ Biotechnology* as optional subjects. The university also considers the score of various other state and national-level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, and NEET-UG, among others for admission to BTech [1]. Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech. and M.E. must register themselves for MHT-CET/JEE Main and GATE respectively through the official website of the MIT Pune.

Minimum eligibility criteria:

• Must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and any one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Technical Vocational.
• Minimum aggregate marks of 50% in PCM and Technical Vocational subjects.
• Relaxation of 5% is given to candidates belonging to Backward Classes and Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) of Maharashtra State.

You can apply for other branches in institute's internal upgrade there might be a chance that you get other branches too. The MIT-WPU Scholarship II is available for students with a 75 percentile and above in the MIT-WPU CET Percentage. 

MIT School of Engineering & Science offers scholarship to Economically Weaker Section students, which is given to the BTech. candidates in first year, 10% on merit, which is divided equally between the MHT- CET and JEE applicants respectively. Likewise, 10% scholarships to M.Tech. and M.Sc. students in the first year is available. Those applicants who are the residents of Maharashtra can apply for the same provided they fulfill the merit and eligibility parameters.
