MIT School of Engineering and Sciences admission process includes application, entrance score submission, selection rounds, and seat confirmation. Students have to go through all the admission stages to get a seat in the college. Getting admission in SOES is moderately competitive. The acceptance of multiple entrance exams creates various admission pathways for students. Application Submission
Students have to apply online through the official MIT University site. The application form has to be submitted with documents and an application fees of INR 1,800.
Selection Rounds
The releses three merit lists based on academic performance and entrance exam scores of the aspirants. The accepted exams and selection criteria is as below:
- Accepted exams for BTech - JEE Main/ MHT CET/GATE/ PERA
- Accepted exams for MTech - GATE/ PERA CET
- Accepted exams for MSc - Merit-based
Fee Payment and Admission Confirmation
Selected students receive a confirmation mail for admission. Aspirants with their name in the merit list have to confirm their admission. After the Board/ graduation results are declared, the candidate must forward a scanned photocopy of the marksheets to our admission mail ID within eight days. Students have to pay the MIT School of Engineering & Sciences fees for the first Semester via NEFT/RTGS or Demand Draft/Cheque.
MIT School of Engineering and Sciences Fee Refund Policy
In case of withdrawal of admission from the course of study or cancellation of admission, students receive a refund. The refund up to 100% is given to students based on their time of withdrawal. Below are the details for MIT School of Engineering and Sciences fee refund policy:

Note:
- In any case, a minimum of INR 15,000 is deducted from the refundable amount as processing fee.
- Amount paid for purchase of instrument, equipment, gadget or book and stationery via institute is non-refundable.
- Students who took admission by paying a token amount and then applies for admission cancellation, need to pay the deficit amount (if any) of the yearly programme fee after deducting the refund fees percentage to get the original documents back.
