NIT Srinagar offers a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with a good learning environment and experienced faculty. However, placements for civil engineering at NIT Srinagar are not as strong as other NITs or IITs. The college has a strong reputation, and students can enjoy a beautiful campus and a safe environment. Some points to consider include:
Branches: ECE and MECH branches have NBA accreditations, and other branches are also good.
Faculty: Highly experienced and knowledgeable.
Placements: CS/IT branch gets 80-90% placement, but civil branch has a low percentage of placement.
Campus life: Beautiful campus, safe environment, and plenty of time for other activities and learning new things.
Overall, choosing B.Tech. in Civil Engineering at NIT Srinagar depends on individual priorities and preferences.

You can get CSE in GFTI as per the JoSSA counselling cutoff last year. You cannot get any branch, like CSE, ECE in NIT at this rank.
