Placements: NIT Srinagar has good placement records from the past 5 years. It has almost 100 percent placement records in almost every branch, with an average of 9 LPA. MNCs from across India come here to place students in their companies.

Placements: NIT Srinagar's placement ratio is decent, means average placements. In Civil Engineering, there are the best placements. Computer Science and Electronics and Communication have the best placements, while other courses have average placements. I'm a Mechanical Engineering student, so in my course, approximately 80-85 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 35 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is 12 LPA.

Placements: Placements are good in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and other major branches. The highest package is around 35 LPA, and the average is around 13 LPA for CSE and other major branches. In lower branches, the average is around 8-9 LPA. Many companies, such as BPCL, ONGC, and HPCL, recruit from core branches. Approximately 80-85% of students are placed in major branches.

Placements: 80-90 percent of students got placed on campus. The average package is 10 LPA. Recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, IBM, TATA. 90 percent of students get internships. Internship is with the company DRDO. The highest package offered is 30 LPA-40 LPA. Students got placement inside the campus. Everyone is satisfied.

Placements: NIT Srinagar offers better placements for CS/IT branches and decent placements for core branches. As I talked to my seniors, they told me that companies visit campus (like Nvidia, Microsoft, Oracle), but they offer only 2-3 job letters out of 100 students, which is not a good count. Placements: In the last placement, Information Technology acquired more placements than the Computer Science branch. Top recruiting companies are Oracle and Big Basket. Around 60–80 percent students got placed. Students need to work on their skills to get a good placement like in any other place. At the end, it’s about skills because no company will hire a person who has no skills, even though he or she is from a reputed college.
