RGIPT uses JEE Main scores as the basis for selecting students for B.Tech programme admission. The admission process initiates during April-May and General/OBC candidates must pay an application fee of INR 1,000 and SC/ST/PwD candidates must pay INR 500. The B.Tech CSE intake at RGIPT consists of 60 seats while students pay yearly tuition fees of INR 2,25,000. Besides, till the age criteria as per JEE, the applicants must meet such specifications.The admission procedure to the B.Tech program, in general, will take into account the JEE Advanced ranks achieved through this academic year. In case of seats remaining unfilled, valid JEE Main scores can also help students get admission. However, meeting this eligibility does not end there, as RGIPT considers scores through JEE Mains and JEE Advanced for admission. So, while the eligibility criteria are 60% for Class 12, unless you do well in these entrance examinations, everything is totally dependent on your performance. In the end, a cutoff would vary each year.Having qualified for Class 12 is one thing; the other thing is how well you've done in JEE because that will be the biggest indicator for admission into RGIPT.
