To get admission to M.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine Technology (Nuclear Medicine) at SGPGI, a candidate should have passed B.Sc. Nuclear Medicine from a recognized University or B.Sc. with Physics and mathematics as a subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks as a regular candidate. The applicant should be proficient in English. Candidates who have obtained their qualifying degree through correspondence courses are not eligible.
The selection process involves an entrance examination. The question paper for M.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine Technology will be separate. Candidates are required to obtain a minimum of 50th percentile for general/OBC and 45th percentile for SC/ST to qualify the test/examination.
The candidate must submit the admission fee within one hour of allocation of the seat. After receipt of the admission fee, their allotment will be confirmed, and they will be offered an appointment letter. The candidate must join the post/position within 15 days from the date of the appointment.
The candidate should have a pass in B.Sc. (Nuclear Medicine) or B.Sc. with Physics and mathematics as a subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Further, 5% relaxation is permitted to reserved category candidates having domicile of Uttar Pradesh. For sponsored candidates, B.Sc. in given subjects with 05 years' experience of working in the respective department of Government Institution is required. Candidates passing B.Sc. through correspondence courses shall not be eligible.
The candidate should be able to communicate well verbally in English.
The admission process includes online registration, last date for online payment, display of eligibility status, last date for appeal for review by not-eligible applicants, admit cards available for download, written examination, provisional result, last date for appeal for review of result, final result, counseling of successful eligible candidates, and joining of selected candidates.
The fees include course fees, which are inclusive of tuition, library, laboratory, examination fees, etc.
Note: The candidate must possess a requisite qualification recognized by the respective bodies that approve the qualifying courses as on 31st July 2024.
