Movies made by Ray, Sen, Ghatak & Sinha get the place in question paper in terms of objective questions. So, knowing basic information about this films will help you. Except this, current affairs and some basic general knowledge will be there, for that, you can take help of any current affairs magazine, like Manorama.
All the best.

Hi Manisha,
There is a need of a minimum marks to apply for the course. But at this moment I can't say the cut off marks on the merit list. As you know it fully depends on the marks of the applicants. The more you score the chance of getting your name on the merit list increases. As long as my knowledge says the 95% will be a good score.
I will suggest you to visit the following link to know more and also check the merit list when it's out. You can get an idea of the cut off.

I think, 60% marks is not a good percentage for getting into St. Xaviers College. But, in their website it is mentioned that minimum 60% marks is required to get admission.

Hi Riddhi,
It must be general. Anyway.
For availing M.Sc in Physics, you must be a Physics (Hons) graduate.
If you are a B.Sc (General) student then you can't go for any Master's degree in science subject.
