No disadvantages. Work experience will give you corporate exposure and as a fresher you may be offered a CTC which is slightly lesser than your work experience counterparts. But thats not a huge margin. Infact freshers are preferred more in FM

Placements at XLRI are fantastic with 100% achievement. All students get placed generally in 3 days of the placement season. Average CTC for BM lies around 18-19 lakhs whereas for HR is at around 17 lakhs.
