Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences and Research generally requires a science background (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in 10+2 with a minimum of 45-50% aggregate marks for B.Sc. Dialysis Technology. While no specific "cutoff score" is published, admissions are based on meeting these academic criteria and potentially an entrance test or merit in the qualifying exam, followed by counselling. It's best to check their official website or contact their admissions office for the most current and precise cutoff information.

The average salary for a dialysis technician in India is between INR 49,000 and INR 6 LPA. Whereas, the average annual salary for a BSc in Perfusion Technology in India is between INR 2.97 Lacs and INR 15 lakhs.

If you're more interested in working with patients who need kidney care,  BSc Dialysis would be a good choice. However, if you're fascinated by cardiac surgeries and want to work in highly specialised environments, BSc Perfusion Technology could be a better option.

Both fields offer rewarding careers, but perfusion technology may offer higher specialisation and scope for advancement.
