Microbiology, students go through orientation sessions that focus on lab discipline and standard operating procedures. They are guided on how to deal with accidents, use first aid in case of chemical spills, and report any mishandling immediately. Special sessions are also organized where faculty talk about ethical practices in scientific research—like honesty in reporting data, giving credit to sources, and ensuring experiments are environmentally sustainable.
