In BE or B.Tech you will study about engineering along with the computer subjects but in MCA and BCA you will mostly learn about computer technologies and programming. There are several companies which only asks for engineering students whereas some companies used to hire BCA/MCA candidates mostly. So my final suggestion is if you have done 12th with PCM then go with BE or B.Tech in IT/CS otherwise opt for BCA.
Hi Rajat,
In point of view, you should take admission in CS because CS is a very wide field.
And if you want to go with MBA then you search for the best college in terms of study, placement and environment. CS has more market value than MBA.
All the best.
First of all, it is depends upon your interest of area. Both courses are good and provide a good opportunity in job life. MBA (Master of Business Administration) provide programs including a core curriculum of subjects, such as accounting, economics, marketing, and operations, some schools require that MBA candidates complete an internship at a company or organization, which can lead to concrete job opportunities after the program. So, you can do MBA in Finance. But, remember one thing, when you join, you should check out the college placement result and facility. CS (Company Secretary) is a senior position in a private sector company or p... View more

No, its not mandatory for BBA. But try to learn the basics from a teacher. Its always suggested that you have some just about the subject. Doon Business School, Dehradun is one of the few institutes which provides BBA+MBA course with industry based certifications. The placements have been really been good and I have seen one of my seniors grabbing packages as high as 22.5 lpa from DBS.
Popular choices for courses include several fields such as accounting, finance, management, and marketing, amongst others. For individuals interested in pursuing a career in entrepreneurship, enrolling in a BBA B.Com or MBA programme in entrepreneurship may be the most suitable option.
Both courses are excellent. It depends on the school you go to for your degree. If you go to a private school, your chances of getting a job are very low, but going to a well-known school will guarantee you better ones.

If you have already enrolled in B.Sc. Maths, you might have to discard your current course to pursue B.Sc CS or BCA. You could consult with the admission department of your institute and find out if switching subjects is permitted in the institute. If not, you may have to start from scratch. If you are in your first year of studies, and the coursework is common to all branches, you may get to switch starting in the 2nd year. Good Luck!!

Hi Sairaj,
In my point of view, you should join MBA in finance after completed B.Com, but remember one thing whenever you join an MBA college, you should make sure that it has a good reputation and placement record and you should have in-depth knowledge of your subject and other courses are CA, CS and various certfications.
Go for CS as after the implementation of the Companies Act, 2013, CS are in high demand. Company secretary is very lucrative and with the implementation of companies act, 2013 the scope has widened for a company secretary as a professional. If you want to study easily, CS. (Easier of the two), More power in an organisation, CS Secretarial audit, CS., Legal compliance, official signatory, CS

Hi Mercy!
You may pursue CS along with your B.Com/B.Com (Hons) graduation. Company Secretary course can very well be done along with your commerce graduation. However you will have to wait till you complete your HSC Commerce with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. B.Com (Hons) and Company Secretary course can be done simultaneously and in fact there are thousands of students who opt for the Company Secretary / Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountancy course along side the graduation. However please take care that you don't neglect graduation studies at all. Your Commerce graduation is a solid foundation for your post graduation ahead in li... View more
All the streams of engineering are good; it depends on your own interest. There are certain colleges where you can do such type of course:
Birla Institute of Technology and Science, BITS Pilani, Pilani
IIIT Hyderabad
Dhirubhai Ambani IICT, Gandhinagar
Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore
Birla Institute of Technology, BIT Mesra, Ranchi
PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore
Anand- ICE Jaipur, etc.
For you, finance is the best because finance is like accounts and you are doing accounts only.
I shall not give you a judgement about the same but will try to explain both sides.
Suppose you do B.Sc IT, the positive side is that, it's a 3-year course, not done through JEE type tough entrances. It has limited syllabus and specialisation in IT and Computer Sc.
Now, let me tell you the risks involved:
1. B.Sc is less preferred by employers when B.Tech is available in abundance.
2. B.Sc gives less technology exposure than BTech.
3. It is of 3 years, whereas, B.Tech is 4 years, so the validity of B.Tech is more for higher studies abroad.
Still, I shall say that if you cannot do B.Tech, then B.Sc is not a bad option.
Hi,
Law with CS (company secretary) is a very good choice as the study for both the courses run on a parallel footing and the career opportunities that one gets after law and CS are also very good. Every company looks for lawyers with additional qualification and a lawyer with CS is a perfect combination.
BA is a basic degree and the subjects that are covered under the course are not helpful as a lawyer when he looks for jobs. Whereas in a CS degree, the subjects that are covered in the entire course have a relation with law and are always helpful. So I would suggest you to opt for law with CS rather than law with BA. This will he... View more
Generally a PG Diploma course is conducted by institute ,where as a Masters ( MMS/MBA) course is approved by the UGC & the university awards the degree which is well recognised across all pvt & public institutions
In a PGD course the institute has the liberty to decide/change the curriculum & admission procedure where as in an MBA/MMS this freedom is not given to the institute.
given a choice one should prefer pursuing a MBA/MMS as compared to a PG Diploma.
The most important point is that DAIICT does't have computer science. The course is ICT- information and communication technology which is sort of combination of ECE and CS and some people can do minors in computational science which is different from computer science. If you speak of the coding world come join DA. I have friends in a couple of colleges you mentioned so according to me your preferential order could be
DAIICT, LNMIT, DTU, VIT, Nirma, Thapar. Hope this helps.
You can become a lawyer or grab a position in public sector bank by appearing for UPSC or competition exams.

UPES has offered handsome packages in CS branch. As there are many specializations, the package varies from branch to branch. The highest package offered was around 16 Lacs per annum. In my knowledge, the max package in MMM from ON campus placement has been about 6.5 lacks per annum. Although people have gone for higher packages in the off campus placement. What eventually matters is the ability rather than the college. So, choose wisely.
I am also a computer science executive student, and I am also planning to do MBA in 2018, because we are not getting results as we are hoping.
There is no problem for understanding accounting if you are a science student I would like to tell you that accounting is very simple subject and very interesting subject but one thing is there for applying for PO exams you need to just pass your Bachelors (graduation) in any field after that you can apply for bank PO exams the main thing for bank PO exams are you need to focus more on logical reasoning than other subjects and GK is also important for giving such competitive exams.
