MBA after B.Com is a very good decision. You should go with the idea of your father.
Dheeraj it makes no difference from a Law career point of view. These are 5 yr integrated courses in which you are given BA/BBA/B.Com + LLB in 5 yrs thus saving you 1 yr. The difference is very basic. In BALLB you are taught Political Science, History, Sociology, Economics etc. along with your law subjects. In BBA/B.Com you are taught Management, Accounting etc. along with your law subjects. So the good thing is that this is one of the decision you can take solely based on interest. Hi,
Indeed, if a university is UGC approved, the degrees will be UGC approved and they will be recognized globally. Among the top private universities, Chandigarh University with it NAAC A+ grade adds feather to your career cap.
Any of these programs is good if your interest, aptitude, attitude, personality traits and aspirations match with it!
What matter most is : WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNT IN THE programme ! AND HOW MUCH YOU CAN APPLY IN THE PRACTICAL SITUATIONS. This holds good for every job. Whenever the employers interview the students, they look for the skills according to the qualification, they don't generally compare the qualifications as such because both qualifications have different outcomes and syllabi. In nutshell, the placements are at different roles for these qualifications, it cant be said which one will get more, sometimes a better B.Com student ... View more

It only depends upon your interest and dedication to pursue a professional line. But, if we relate the two courses with B.Com, MBA would be a more preferable and practical choice. But again, nothing is impossible, and you can achieve anything with hard work and dedication.
