Hello Shrishti,
Unfortunately you are not eligible for admission as the cut-off in graduation is 50%.
Dear Aayush!
You don't need to be confused. If you are willing to make career in Finance then you 'must' have to learn financial modelling. It's not a degree but a short term course which you can learn from anywhere (like investopedia or corporate finance institute etc. ). If you want to make career as a financial analyst (that's very promising and technical branch of finance) then doing CFA would be extremely grateful to you however, MBA Finance is helpful if you want to became finance manager. Dear Aayush! What you all just need is to identify your interest and capabilities. My suggestion is that you start learn Financial Modelling. ... View more
There is no difference between the two. Earlier it was ICWA and then changed to CMA. If you will do MBA, it requires two years. After B.Com, you can do MBA in finance.
Stats from both Ramjas and KMC is good. I can say the same for Economics hons for Ramjas. Khalsa had a reputation for violence a few years which has improved and considering the opinions of my peers from Khalsa, it is a satisfactory college. Also, as per my knowledge, English and Economics faculty is damn good there. So, it's your call now.
I think no need of MBA to give your 2 years.
You have already done with CA.
You just take some experience from the company or else. Check the course which help you in your work.
Also, now, there is new concept of GST so do that thing which help you rather to do MBA for 2 or 1 year
I will say no for MBA.
Hello Amir,
Sorry, you are not eligible for MBA from a good college because it needs 50% and 45% for SC, ST, OBC. Some private universities will entertain you but it is not worthy better to choose another option or you can do it through private universities or by distance education.
IPS Business School admission criteria is a candidate should be Graduate (10+2+3) from a UGC recognized university in any discipline with minimum 50% marks.

Hi,
I am very delighted to hear that you are in 1st year of your B.Com and you have started preparing for MBA, I mean that's to what we call a spirit to achieve highest score possible.
You can start with basic mathematics like from class 6-12th start preparing for that and once you are done then test your skills in English and most importantly, start reading newspapers as they will help you the most for gaining general knowledge.
No, you need to be in the 90 percentile category.

Yes, of course you can do B.Com with your BBA from correspondence or Distance. But maybe honors will not be available in distance mode but can be possible through correspondence.
There are only 4 distance/correspondence MBA colleges in Mysore including Indian School of Business Management & Administration, Mysore. Please refer to the link provided below for a list of these colleges. You should be able to navigate to a college of your choice using the filters on the web page.
Regards.

No, NCHMCT is not an only option to get admission in Hotel Management. In fact it is a lengthy and time taking procedure and in the end admission is not guaranteed. The best course is B.Voc DEGREE in Hotel Management. B.Voc is a work integrated degree programme where applicants get opportunity to earn while learning. In this programme theory classes happen at The Hotel School (training hub partner) and practical training is conducted at leading star category hotels in Delhi and Haldwani, Uttarakhand. B.Voc degree in Hotel Management is offered by Tata Institute of Social Sciences - School of Vocational Education (TISS-SVE), a NAAC A+ gover... View more
I would rather suggest you to either do MBA with Banking as your specialization subject or else get into a job in Banks (as Probationary Officer) or in a fiance company to gain valuable work experience. Doing PhD or LLB might not be much beneficial to you if you need to make a career in the filed of fiance or Banking.
Yes, you can definitely for PGDM course as the requirement of scores for the various colleges is distributed along as 50% + grades in 10th, 12th and graduation and a good MAT score. So, I would suggest you to prepare well for the MAT exam and definitely look forward for your preferred opportunities.
I don't know much about these colleges, but if you take the student reviews into consideration then both Gargi College, as well as Shaheed Bhagat Singh, are good.
You can take admissions in Delhi University. You can apply online on their website. Hi,
Well, the minimum percentage required for appearing in CAT is 50% for general and 45% for reserved category. However, if you are a general category student, you are ineligible to give the exam itself. With such percentage, the truth is bitter. All the other good options won't be available at such a score, except you have chances of getting in private institution.
After B.Com, one has multiple options. One can pursue M.Com MBA, CA ICWA, LL.B. CS B.Ed D.Ed, and a host of Diplomas/ certificate in a variety of fields which could help you acquire job-related skills.
Obviously you can. Hotel Management does not limit itself with less scope. It has varied options. All you need is passion in the field and interest to learn innovative things.
Yes, why not. You can apply to NAEMD for PG courses. Talking about the job opportunity, you can get into event management companies like Red Chilli, Moser Baer, Sunburn festivals, etc.
