Engineer | Mentor,

The branches you have mentioned are all completely different. If you take CSE from any private reputed college and also if you have interest in computer science then you should go for it or else taking mechanical branch from any government. The college is also not bad because mechanical branch offers you both private as well as government sector jobs. Civil also does the same although private jobs are very less in civil. You should first check the 4 year syllabus for all these branches and then accordingly choose the branch that matches your profession.

Management & IT Consultant,

ITI training in different trades varies from six months to two years. Prerequisites for the ITI courses range from 8th to 12th class pass. Its a lower qualification in comparison to Diploma in Engineering because Diploma is generally a 3 years course. Diploma in Engineering aims to provide students with industry or job related engineering knowledge, scientific skills, computing & analysis, mathematical techniques, a sound knowledge of English to communicate in the field and ability to apply problem solving techniques.
Therefore, it is recommended that you opt for Diploma in CSE over ITI certificate in CSE.

Percentile scores indicate the percentage of candidates who scored lower than a particular candidate. In this case, your son's percentile score of 89.55 means that he performed better than approximately 89.55% of the candidates who appeared for the KIITEE Phase 2 exam.
To determine your son's chances of securing admission to the CSE branch in KIIT Bhubaneswar, it's important to consider the previous year's cutoff ranks or scores for the CSE branch. These cutoffs can va... View more
