This is an age of coding and the one who can code actually don't need to be afraid of the world. I would advice you to do an advanced course in software and web development. To get a job in an MNC, your knowledge and skills of computers- programming, etc.
Syllabus of CSE and IT branches overlaps upto 80% but course content of CSE is more rigorous in comparison to IT. Also CSE class composition is topper of Engineering Entrance Examinations therefore scoring good marks become tougher particularly in colleges where there is relative grading system of marking. Thus IT is relatively easier in comparison to CSE.

Before joining, you need to learn nothing for CSE. They will teach you everything from 1st semester onwards, so nothing to be worry. Still, if you know C+, Java from before then it is too good everything will be easy for you mainly the programming, but it is not that necessary. You will get to know everything after joining. Hi mate,
It's great that you love computer science. There are also many good private colleges in which you take admission in your desire subject. They take admission through their own entrance test. Some of them are VITEEE, SRMJEE, BITSET and many more.
These days, the preferred branch of almost all the candidates is CSE. As a result of this, under all categories only the top students can get into this branch. So is the case with your category. If you would look from another angle merely percentile will not help much once NTA declared the ranking and that too ranking for each category you will know on your own as to where you stand in your category. This will roughly tell you the chances of success for you to get CSE as a subject in one of the NIT. However to help you I am attaching a link that can predict college and branch for you based on your percentile. I would like to advise you tha... View more

Yes, you can do your graduation in CS. There are a lot of organizations who take up students less than required percentage. But friend what will you do after your graduation. To get a placement in any organisation/MNC you must meet a percentage criteria (60%or above) throughout academics. Its also not a good thought to repeat 12th. As this will introduce a hiatus in your education. By your question I can speculate that your area of interest might be in programming. What I will suggest is, join a college where you can get CS as your preferred stream and get command over a programming language. In case if you did not get through placements, ... View more
