With a rank of 100,000 in EAMCET, it may be challenging to secure a free seat in a reputable college for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Admission to CSE programs in colleges often depends on the cutoff ranks set by the institutions. Higher-ranking students generally have a better chance of securing free seats in top-tier colleges. However, there are many engineering colleges in India where you can pursue CSE even if you don't qualify for a free seat. Some private colleges offer management quota seats or provide admission based on payment of fees. It's important to research and consider various options available to you. Additionall... View more

Dear Ashish,
Among the above mentioned universities, Chandigarh University is the best for CSE banch as it provides good placements. Moreover, Chandigarh University is having collaboration with abroad universities so they also provide a chance to study abroad. Although, it will be a little costly but it's good.
<p>The average salary for B.Sc Hons in Computer Science at RMVCC, Rahara is up to INR 5 Lacs per annum but the highest salary is upto INR 10 Lacs per annum,</p><p>The placements are provided to only 5% students in the institution, hence may not be a good option for placements.</p>
<p>Depending on the college and category, some Telangana colleges would admit students with a TS EAPCET rank of 28,851 to the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch. For example, based on seat availability and reservation perks, colleges like Malla Reddy College of Engineering and Technology and CMR Institute of Technology may provide you a chance with closing rankings for CSE of between 25,000–31,000.</p><p>Given that intermediate marks are taken into account in the TS EAPCET rankings, your IPE score of 852 may also help your application. Hi Virendra,
The placements of Computer Science branch are pretty good for JIIT. Companies like Amazon, Delloite, Cognisant and SAPLABS come here for recruitment. But, it all depends on your CGPA and performance throughout 4 years accordingly you will be allowed to take the aptitude test.
Feel free to raise more queries.
All the best.
Both are developing and have job opportunities for the potential candidate. Just look into the job area in which you have interest and choose the branch according to it only.
Hello Aman,
If you want to go for engineering, it is better to take computer and PCM. As there are multiple branches in engineering, you can opt for any courses.
In future, computer science engineering will have a good scope and so if you take computer science and PCM, it will be better.
If you want to do biotechnology or genetic engineering, then opt for biology and PCM.
Hello Srinishanth,
Yes, it is indeed a good choice. SSN is one of the reputed private institutes under Anna University. You can get a good amount of exposure, training and placements. SSN is known for its infrastructure and faculty and so these would be another advantage to study here. If you have a good cut off score, then you can get a seat at SSN.
All the best!

However, as per your rank, you will get some average colleges.
Computer Science is the study of the preliminary concepts involved in the working of a computer. It deals with the fundamentals of the co-existence of Software and Hardware. Usually, although not necessarily, CS is academic oriented, and the degree given in this field is a B.Sc. Computer Applications is the study of the application of computer software in the corporate world. It deals with the learning of various programming languages, and calls for impeccable proficiency in Java, C+, Python, etc. The degree given in this field is a BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications), which is a more 'job-ready' course. I'd personally prefer Computer ... View more

In terms of placement and internships, the college is doing well. Four of the students got placed with Amazon last year with packages of 27 LPA. Apart from that, many other students are also placed with other good companies and the internship stats are also good and hopefully going to get better in future.
