I suggest you attend a demo lecture and see the difference in their teaching for yourself. Also you can ask any current/ex-student for their feedback. As far as I've heard, TIME has the best study material for CAT. Good luck with your preparation!

I strongly recommend you to first check your age that you are eligible or not because every year age limit is changing and if you are eligible then you can prepare via class 11th and 12th NCERT books of PCM and you can follow Pathfinders NDA by Arihant Publication for more guidelines.

According to my opinion, taking a drop is not worth for a course like engineering because the course is same whether you study in any institute. Only the salary packages are different.

Mechanics part is the most important part for class 11, while electrostatics, current electricity, and magnetism are important for class 12th. In case of mathematics, you can revise class 12th chapters and practice from previous year paper. In chemistry, organic part is very important.

The minimum eligibility marks to qualify JEE Main and Advanced is to have at least 75% marks in board exams (overall percentage). For SC or ST, the marks should be 65%. So, even if you qualify JEE Main and Advanced, you cannot get any college under JEE counselling.
