As per your desired institute or university admission, you need to appear for one of them. But, most of the students try their luck in CAT and MAT exam to get admission in best B-school in India. Otherwise, you can appear for GMAT for abroad education.

Almost all state govts in India have resorted to entrance test for selecting students for admission to engineering colleges with the notable exception of Tamil Nadu. Even deemed to be universities have their own entrance exams. As you have missed on your home state's CET, you can perhaps now think of management quota seats in private college if you want to pursue engineering this year. You of course gave an option of taking a break, prepare well for WBJEE clear it with good marks next year and hope to get into a good government college.
