The difficulty level of the examination is from easy to moderate. But, a few questions might trick your mind and be time-consuming. General Knowledge and Analytical and Logical Reasoning were easier than Quantitative Aptitude and the level was easy to moderate.

IIT JEE is a single - stage objective type examination consisting of two papers of three hours duration each to test comprehension & analytical ability of candidates. Both papers, paper-1 and paper-2 will each have three separate sections on physics, chemistry & mathematics.
All questions will be of objective type, designed to test aptitude, comprehension and analytical ability of the candidates.

<p>In SRMJEEE multiple choice questions are asked. The exam is held s an online proctored test. There will be 5 sections in the SRMJEEE question paper: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English and Aprtitude. There is no negative marking in SRMJEEE. For each question answered correctly, candidates will be awarded 1 marks. The syllabus for SRMJEEE will mostly be from Class XI and Class XII topics studied by candidates for their Board or equivalent examination.</p>

The UCEED exam will have two parts - Part A and Part B. Part A will include Numerical Answer Type NAT Multiple Select Question (MSQ), Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Meanwhile, Part B will include drawing and aptitude-based questions. Note that in the previous edition of the exam, Part B include only sketching-based question. So, starting UCEED 2024, the candidate also needs to prepare for aptitude based questions that will be asked in Part B. Questions for the aptitude section will evaluate the ability of the candidate to practically and appropriately respond to problems/situations with ingenuity and empathy.
