Kindly mention the entrance exam name for which you have missed appearing for the counseling. Though, I am not too sure to say unless I have the exam name, but I guess a lot of college offer direct admission process in colleges via reserved seats (5% of total number of seats). These seats are reserved for those people who actually didn't qualify the eligibility criteria for getting a seat in college but are willing to spend almost two to four times the actual fee of the college. You can join some research organisation, or companies into research, or clear GATE/NET and join Ph.D. with a good lab. Also you can join for as a JRF in a lab and enroll for Ph.D. Next best option is to take up a course in clinical research/ medical coding and getting yourself employed more rapidly. Both the industries pay you handsome salary. Actually the former is the equivalent of IT jobs in our industry. There is a lot of scope and if you dedicate yourself properly in a decade you will find yourself in a great position career wise and finance wise. Hello Shubham, If you have completed postgraduation, you can apply for the NET JRF to become a scientist. The UGC NET and CSIR NET exam are conducted for the selection of assistant professor, pursue Ph.D. and research. The candidates of Science stream can apply for the CSIR NET while other stream candidates can apply for the UGC NET. The minimum eligibility is post graduation degree for the NET. There is no age limit for the lectureship while candidates must be below 30 years for the NET JRF. The NTA conduct the UGC NET exam twice a year while the next UGC NET exam is scheduled from 2nd December to 16th December 2018.
