Board level preparation is sufficient to get a rank in KIITEE.
Questions are very straight forward and easy to answer but you should have good command over formulas in PCM. KIITEE is not that tough to crack.
Just bring a rank below 3800 to get branch of your choice.

No, use of calculators is allowed JN CMAT exam. Rough sheets are provided for rough work. You should give mock exams to get feel without calculators so you can get knack of solving problems faster and manage your time well. All you need to bring at test center is one ID Proof and Admit Card. You can also use vedic maths techniques to solve Quantitative problems faster and easy for calculation.

Usually, questions may not be asked from very limited lists. Questions are free-flowing and you may get asked something that no one before has ever been asked in a NID interview. In fact, be ready for this. Rules to answer all questions: Be honest and be spontaneous (It does not mean impulsive. Take time if you have to, and be honest with that). It consists of 40 questions of 1 mark each and 12 questions of 5 marks each. There will be four sections allotted for (1) Mathematics, (2) Physics, (3) Chemistry and (4) Biology. All questions are compulsory. Part 2 questions are descriptive type in nature.

<p>There are no straight forward vocabulary questions in CAT. Out of the total of 24 questions in VARC section, 12-14 questions are Reading Comprehension based and rest of them comprise parajumbles, para completion and odd sentence. CAT is the only MBA entrance exam, which does not have direct vocabulary and grammar questions. However, one needs to have strong vocabulary and grammar to be able to solve RC, parajumble, para completion and odd sentence questions.</p>

<p>Data Interpretation or DI is a sub part of CAT's second section DILR. This section has 20 -22 questions (until 2023, the totla number of DILR questions was 20, and in 2024 the number of questions was 22). Both Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning questions have equal number of questions. Candidates must make sure that they prepare for both topics well as the weightage is equal and if they are ill prepared for either of the two, their score will get affected.&nbsp;</p>

In my view, its better to attempt a maximum number of questions. Constraining yourself to a number of questions might not be a good idea. Sometimes the paper is easy and people attempt a number of questions. Also, CAT result is relative, so a fixed number of attempt will reduce your chances to score high. So, better try to attempt all the questions in which you are confident.
