You also should have record of your interest in other spheres of human life. All these things and some go a long way in getting admission. However there are many nuances to the whole process and you may get stuck even if one goes wrong. The main intake is in September for Irish universities. The applications must be submitted by October or November of the previous year, you will need around a year. The timeline and deadlines are mentioned on university websites which you have to follow. Few universities have February intake.
