Yes, you can apply for IIT JAM Exam. You need a graduation degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks for General & OBC and 50% marks for SC, ST categories. The last date of application form has been extended. You can now fill you form on or before 12th October 2018. Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a written NET in any one of the centres Bengaluru, Dehradun, Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi and Guwahati.
The NET will be for 2.5 hours

Eligibility for M.Sc Biochemistry programme: Graduates in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Agricultural Sciences, Animal Sciences or any Life Sciences as Biochemistry as principle or subsidiary subjects with 45% (40% in case of SC / ST) of marks in aggregate from any recognized University. Yes, you are eligible for M.Sc, but chances for government colleges are less, but you may possibly get admission in private colleges. There is relaxation for SC/ST candidates for 5% in government colleges.
