The Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination is held twice a year by Maharashtra HSC. For students who are not satisfied with their results or who have failed one or more subjects, the Maharashtra State Board conducts improvement exams after declaring the results. In response to your query, if you have not already enrolled in college, you may skip the exam. However, you are firmly advised to appear for the improvement examination in July itself, as failing to do so may cause a delay in improved results and additional delays in continuing on to higher studies.

That being said, admission to Walchand College of Engineering is competitive, and the final admission decision will depend on various factors, including the number of available seats, the number of applicants, the cutoffs set by the college, your academic performance, and other relevant factors.
