No, you do not have to write the second paper (Mathematics) of the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical KEAM entrance exam if you are opting only for medicine. The KEAM exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 Physics and Chemistry and Paper 2 (Mathematics). Paper 1 is mandatory for all candidates who wish to pursue courses in engineering and pharmacy. However, if you are specifically interested in medicine-related courses like MBBS BDS or other medical programs, you only need to appear for Paper 1. I started reading from NCERT textbooks of 10th,11th and 12th. Read the textbooks thoroughly and get all the concepts correctly. The syllabus will include everything from 10th,11th and 12th NCERT. I will not say it's difficult, but you need to apply a good amount of your mind to solve questions. English is easy if you are a decent book or a newspaper reader.

So, unless the candidate downloads the answer keys corresponding to the relevant booklets series, the keys will not match. And if that happens, the candidate will not be able to accurately calculate the probable scores.</p>

Pattern takes into count your best of 4 scores (including maths), then there is this MCQ test on English and maths (class 8-12)
Now, what they do is that they add your best of 4 score to the score you obtain in the test!
And to finish it off, the cut off generally varies around 65-70 (all together) /100!
So, best of luck man for the test and do keep yourself updated with the Xavier's website for any possible change in the examination pattern!
If you need any kind of further assistance regarding these matters, you may freely ask!
