No, failing in Paper 2 will lead to eliminating your chances of getting a good college for architecture branch (B.Arch only). For the rest of the branches, your Paper 1 rank will be considered.
For sample papers, I'm afraid you have to refer to some websites which make such papers for examinees. And about the last few year's question papers, you can find those in the college library, however, they are only available and accessible to the college enrolled students. Total Fee

Hey there,
Did you get a rank displayed as per the result for your paper 2?
The cut-off given was that for those who qualified to write JEE Advance. Rank will be given even if you qualify or not.
According to me, 220 in paper 2 is good and you will get admission in nits. Only that you can apply for architecture branch. For other branches they consider the paper 1 rank. If you apply for architecture the rank of paper 2 will be considered.
For more information, kindly google the previous year's opening and closing rank of various NITs.
All the best.
Hello,
No, it's not compulsory to take JEE Mains Paper 2. If you want to pursue the B.Arch & B. planning courses then you can appear in JEE Mains Paper 2. JEE Mains Paper 2 exam is conducted for admission in B.Arch & B. planning courses at popular Centrally funded Technical institutes (CFTIs) and National Institute of Technology (NITs).
Best of luck!
Sorry, but your rank is too high. You scored 235 marks in JEE paper 2.
300+ marks are considered for admission for B.Arch in NITs. So, you should try in any private college.

Hello Srimathy,
If you have appeared for JEE main paper 2 alone, then you can get architecture and planning courses only in NITs and GFTIs. To get architecture courses in IITs, there is a separate process.
You have to appear and clear both JEE mains paper 1 &2, then you have to clear JEE Advanced also. After that, you should write AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test), which is a test to get admission into architecture courses in few IITs. I think only IIT Roorkee and Kharagpur offer Architecture. Only then you can get admission for architecture in IITs.
Hi, NATA score of 120-130/200 along with a good percentage in your 12th can have good chances to get admission in Architecture. With a score of 90.8 percentile in JEE mains paper 2 it would be difficult.

Hello Danthala, students who have appeared for JEE Main's examination conducted by National Testing Agency are invariably desirous of knowing how they performed in the examination. In the olden times there was no way this could be found out but with the advent of modern times and with computerization majority of the authorities conducting such common entrance test put out the answer keys after the end of the examination to know if any objections by the students for the answers and subsequently for the students to know how they are performed. That's all. This is the only reason why NTA has put all answer keys. Now in the case of JEE Mains c... View more
