A telephonic interview goes on pretty much like a personal interview. The interviewer will want to know about you and since they cannot see you, they will assess you based on your confidence in the way you answer them. You might get questions regarding your previous course, your subjects, your interests, general awareness, current affairs etc. They will try to see if you fit into this structure. That's about it.

Considering your concern only about JEE Mains, I would first recommend you to check that are you well versed with the complete syllabus. Yes, that is absolutely necessary to have all topics (even the smallest and seemingly unimportant ones) completed very well. Now that when you ensure that then comes the real thing. Practice, Practice and Practice. This is the only thing which can help you score well. But, only problem solving won't help you.

The point of this answer will be to tell what you can expect in an interview. Don't expect the interviewers to grind you only on technical questions. Of course they will do so but it is only one part of the interview. If you are academics are pretty impressive then they won't dig much into it. Mostly they will check your presence of mind and your situation handling abilities. Many a times they ask you about your opinions on some current happening or almost anything. They can ask you anything related to what you have put on your resume. If you have put stock market as your interests then they will surely as more about it. They may ask rando... View more

They will ask you very basic questions like:
Why you wanna study at St Joseph's College
They ask about your hobbies, extracurricular, sports achievements, etc
There's nothing to worry as they won't ask any complicated question and just be yourself.

The MAH MBA CET English session is not dominated by Reading Comprehension unlike CAT. Out of 50 questions, only about 14-16 questions are asked from Reading Comprehension passages. Rest of the questions are asked from topics such as appropriate usage, fill in the banks, para jumbles, vocabulary, antonyms and synonyms, error correction, sentence completion and word arrangement, grammar, one-word substituting and verbal ability. To score well in this section of MAH MBA CET, candidates should focus on English grammar and verbal ability such as word placement, fill in the banks, etc.

University of Delhi,

It mostly depends on where or which college are you applying for. Mostly M.Sc Entrance exams are conducted by some top-notch colleges only while a few conduct personal interviews because the crowd for the occupancy is relatively less. If there is an entrance exam:
The main focus will be on epidemiology, the basic ones and pharmacology and a few statistics but it is all basic and any medical graduate can answer them. If it's a personal interview:
The question will be interrogative like why you want to join the course? Where do you want to see yourself after 5 years? Would you be interested in Ph.D. also, if offered? Why are you not... View more
