Singh, don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. If you like computer, want to build crazy application or something related to software go with Computer Science engineering. If you like playing with machines/motors or electricity go ahead with Mechanical engineering. Or Electrical engineering. You have a host of options. You can choose to do a certificate course or a Diploma. Or, you can take up Bachelors in travel and tourism. 10+2 and an entrance exam would be the most basic gateway for the Bachelors. One suggestion is, when you do the Bachelors also use networking skills to find an internship too. It stands out in the crowd when you later apply for jobs.

Well, there are diverse ways to move ahead. I would recommend fetching a few years of work experience in the chosen and interested area. You could consider doing Masters.
