Since you want to be a professor then you must have a Ph.D. in the subject of which you want to be a professor. So now you must do masters in political science and then Ph.D. in it. You can’t opt for any course in UG level. Your subject in UG level doesn’t affect your IAS exam. After attaining 21 years of age you need to appear for UPSC, based on which you will be allotted IAS or IPS.
