Hi Akash,
You can either go for BCA + MCA or B.Tech CSE after completing class 12th, if you want to become a software developer.
Hello Mukesh,
Firstly, you complete your 12th with a good percentage, prepare for competitive exam like JEE, SRMJEE, VITEE, etc. You select B.Tech in CSE, you easily become a software engineer.
All the best
You can go for private colleges. They will give some scholarship on the basis of your percentage of 12 and the marks you scored in the entrance exam conducted by college itself. If you have got 85+% in 12, you can get direct admission in UPES, ICFAI, LPU or GALGOTIA (Maybe), definitely. Also, if you are unable to score that much percentage in 12, then score in the entrance exam. Then only you will get the scholarship.
Best of luck.
If you like my answer, then please hit thumbs up.
For any further query, please feel free to ask.
Not required for a 10th class student. Perform well in 12th class. Just concentrate on 12th alone and prepare for Entrance exams. Once you join in an Institute in CS course you can start learning all the languages you wish to! As coding is something which comes by experience. If you learn it now eventually you will forget when you concentrate on higher studies (11th & 12th). So, If you start learning it right after 12th you will remember it well and can keep on practicing.

Hi Raghav,
You can choose both, CSE and IT branch to become a software engineer. But, I would suggest you to choose computer science engineering. It is better in comparison with information technology.
If you want to become a Software Engineer Diploma in Computer Science Engineering is not a sufficient qualification which can get you a job. You are advised to do 10+2 from a recognised board then opt for B.Tech CSE/ IT, BCA of B.Sc CS/IT.
You have the following options to become a software engineer:
(a) B.Tech CS/ IT
(b) BCA-MCA,
(c) B.Sc-M.Sc CS/IT.
(d) Diploma in computer science from polytechnic
(e) Computer courses
You are advised to take physics, chemistry and maths as a subject for 10+2 and work hard to take any of the above mentioned path to fulfill your dream of becoming a software engineer.
Fee vary from college to college. The average tuition fee for the entire two years M.Sc. Computer Science course ranges from INR 20,000 to 50,000 in government aided institutes and INR 2 lacs to 3 lacs in privately owned universities. Eligibility for M.Sc. Computer Science -
*Candidates must have completed graduation in B.Sc. (H) Computer Science or B.Sc. Applied Physical Sciences with Mathematics and Computer Science
*Candidates who have completed B.Sc. (General) Mathematical Sciences, (10+2+3 scheme) with Mathematics and Computer Science are also eligible to apply.
You have not shared your subjects. If you have physics, chemistry, maths and computer science subjects, then you are not required to study any thing else now to become as software engineer after 10+2 stage. If you do not have CS as a subject then you may learn any one computer language such as C+.

(c) B.Sc-M.Sc CS and IT
(d) Graduation with Computer PG Diploma
(e) IT Certifications, etc.
Fresh computer science graduates start with 3.5 LPA. Students of top engineering colleges may get average CTC of Rs 10 lakhs per annum.
There is only one good option available for you to full-fill your dream of becoming a Software Engineer. You are advised to appear for MCA entrance exams conducted by various universities to become a Software Engineer.
Getting admission in IITs is not a piece of cake for being successful. If you work hard on your programing, computer languages and logical ability you may become successful software engineer from any college.
College doesn't affect knowledge. You can gain programming language knowledge even from the internet as well. So don't think about that. Just go and read about it.
Give entrance exams first.
If you get good marks, then only you will get admission in good government colleges.
Good luck.
There's no problem as it's a recognised university.
